Money is not the only aspect to measure your growth. If you would have create your own successful start up , that might be bigger accomplishment then bumping TC 🙂

  I thought so too 5 years ago, but now thinking how tech industry impacts the world and how small the number of talented engineers is, we may not be in the bubble.

Pretty much same numbers for me, but I was at a big company back then. (Of course my current TC is highly subject to the stock price.) 155 -> 600

  It doesn’t really have anything to do with switching companies; if you have other offers and do well on the interview, you can jump directly to the top of the range at the desired company.
  
  I hovered around 2xx for a while, then went to 3xx, then 6xx. Tbh my current TC is highly dependent on stock price, I’m just telling you what it would be based on the latest news.

160k to 500k. I think I found my comfort zone in terms of TC. Henceforth my job changes won't be based on TC.
