Snap is the most you’ll make as an SWE. Google and Amazon have presence here as well. Netflix too, but if you have to ask you probably won’t get in
350K TC at AWS in non-tech role. Snap, Netflix or remote roles at FANG are your best bet in LA
EOW and role?
With the 30% bump from the stock this week I’m looking at 900k TC. Business model is ads, same as GOOG/FB. Fewer of us at SNAP so easier to move the needle here.
I never understood why I was rejected for a FS role at snap, the phone interview went well with one closure JS question and the other was string anagram.
Super high competition. My interview was the hardest in my gauntlet. Harder than Uber, FB, Lyft, Pins, Amazon, and Microsoft.
