I’m interviewing for a senior account manager position at Amazon. They’ve asked me “What is your total expected compensation (include base, bonus, equity”
I hate putting a number out first but generally am not sure what would be appropriate to ask for here and don’t want to undercut their first offer.
Is there a way for me to avoid this question? Would putting a range like $130-150k be better than picking a number?
Having trouble finding the industry average online.
Was thinking about TC around $140k (including base, stock, benefits, bonus, etc) - what do we think?
Im living in Seattle and I have 5 years professional experience and am coming from another mid-large well known tech company.

But to answer your question more broadly, you could say something like "I've entertained a couple offers so far, and based on what I see in the market the minimum offer I would even entertain would be 140 - 150k".
