Hi I wanted to know the typical TC break down I can expect for a software engineer with 1 YOE and a secret clearance ( if that matters). 1 YOE 85K TC Los Angeles
100k tc for software engineer with 1 year experience.
I was lowballed with an offer from them. Everyone I spoke to there said it was miserable WLB. They oddly asked me for my high school transcript during the interview process. I was baffled, 2 bachelors and a master wasn’t enough to prove I graduated high school..
Typically equity heavy. Cash comp is on the low end.
I've heard it's around 90k base and 150k stock over 5 years with 1 year experience. Goes up quickly after a few more years experience. Not terrible IMO for LA tech.
Obviously not FAANG money..
Is there a sign on bonus or other forms of compensation? Goes up by how much? And do all of software receive around the same or is there an hierarchy based on role?

Biden to hand out green cards to 4000 illegals per year
I interviewed there, didn't get the offer but my impression was that I wouldn't want to work there. Seems like workaholics and low TC city. Be prepared for an overly complex interview process. The onsite was super cool though.
Thanks for the insight!
My advice to land the offer is to start drinking the Kool aid right now. Start reading SpaceX news sites, be prepared to show off all of your knowledge and passion. The culture is people love their job, they love space and they're super passionate about leadership (esp Musk). It felt like if I tried to negotiate the recruiter would drop the 'are you really passionate about "The Mission"' line to keep my salary down. It's a place that people love to work because of what they're doing rather than the TC, WLB or any other reason.
