Trying to figure out the salary and TC range for TPM at Disney in the LA area. Checked levels.fyi but they do not have any data for the same. Looking for the range for Lead and Principle TPM. Want to know if they pay well enough, as have heard wlb is better. Also how is tech project manager role different from technical program manager at Disney? Do they fall under the same salary bands? Any pointers would be helpful. TC: 280k YOE: 12 #tech #tpm #programmanager #projectmanager
Technical Program Manager for Disney Streaming here. I’m YOE 4 and making $171k. I love my work/life balance and my team. Exceptional people on the tech teams and I have never been happier working. Principle and SR positions obviously make more than mine but I’m happy making what I’m making at this point.
Technical Program Manager at Disney Streaming here. YOE: 7, TC: $171k. The difference between a tech project manager vs program manager is that the project managers report high level status updates to program managers and use program managers as points of escalation & coordination. I love my team and the highly talented engineers that I get to work with.
Sr. (aka Lead) TPM in Disney Streaming, 10yoe, TC ~265k target. Historically bonus has always been above target but came from Hulu so ymmv
I’m a sr tpm for Disney (dpep) based in orlando. TC 171k. I negotiated my hire rate and I’ve heard I’m on the higher end of the scale. Lead is one level above my rank, principle is two
Thank you. Are you a technical program manager or technical project manager? What is dpep?
Also what is your YOE? 171k TC for sr. TPM seems to be low, but then what would I know about Orlando COL as I have never worked from there. :(
