Thought this deserved its own thread aside from the going back date one. We know companies like FB and Dropbox etc. announced to become a Remote first company. Who else? Let’s make this a good resource for people being asked to go back to office who want to find a new job. #remotework #wfh
I'll be interested to see what the policy is with these companies in two years.
Lmao Facebook isn’t remote first. I have a friend there. It’s all a sham. Total bullshit. They have rules against going remote if you aren’t a certain level, etc. They’ll never be remote first. If you really want remote FIRST, go to the git companies (GitHub, gitlab etc) Dorsey companies are also moving toward remote, but I doubt it’ll be remote only. Although probably will be closer to full remote culture than FB.
Microsoft ?
Nein but there's no going back in a sense. Seeing a lot of resistance at all levels
Zillow is allowing permanent remote for technology org
