This is for a Mixed Signal Verification Engineer role, grade level 26. Offer details: Base: 125k Sign on bonus: 15k Relocation: 15k Yoe: 3 No RSUs offered. I’m leaving about 15k of RSUs on the table from my current company. Not sure if this is a good offer financially. Any scope of negotiating base to 135k and/or RSUs? Please advise. Thanks!
check out rent in Santa Clara first
move to santa clara, interview in apple or nvidia and switch
all mixed signal groups have some dedicated and some part time verification guys(part time design, part time verification)....i have no idea how to switch easily to digital verification but should not be entirely impossible.
Thanks for the feedback! Will keep it in mind!!
the tc you are being offered is below market salary.
Can you advise on an appropriate TC to negotiate? Also, they are projecting additional 20% profit share.
Base salary is on par with market with 3 yr exp . The only difference Apple MSFT and nVDia are RSU allocation . They give hearty amount in RSU that’s why TC goes high
Worst TC! Negotiate the shit out of the mofos. I am an ex-TIER
They won’t budge. Had multiple rounds of negotiations. Even gave them details of competing offers. Since you’ve been in TI, what according to you is appropriate?
I was a part of TI blr. TI believes in attracting talent by showcasing the nature and scope of work rather than money.
Ex-TIer , stay away from TI if you can. JG26 is entry level
That’s bad TC for a bad company
Could you elaborate?
