I am new to this as I have always been at either large tech companies (Google and Facebook) or small startups a long time ago.
My idea might be good enough to get a few million users if my mvp seduces early adopters.
Doing it all by myself.
So, I left my job a few months ago to focus 100% on this project.
Should I start a company? LLC? Sole proprietorship ? Something else?
Would you say I should find a co-founder?
It is somewhat hard to be entirely solo when debating about priorities and features or design. But it is also so freeing to answer to no-one.
Did not raise money. Can survive a year or two on savings.

Thoughts?

TC:0 planned for 2022 unless I get lucky :)
2021 was about ~700k(cut short in October)

How do you focus 100% on creating something new when you also have a job? I really can't picture myself slacking while working on my own thing. Might be stupid but I have integrity.

  • app store doesnt need an llc but if your app is based on subscription then it might help. Make sure your audience have age >13 or need to follow coppa rules.

I am not specifically targeting kids (at least not with initial mvp). I will keep that in mind.

  • If you might get sued, an LLC is best because then they can't come after your own money.
That's kinda the extent of my research into the domain, but I thought it was interesting

Unless you already have a cofounder in mind, your time is prob better spent talking to customers and chipping away at your MVP

Dude, I wasn't asking for a job. I am working on my own app full-time. Good luck.
