I'm re-entering the job market and trying to break into a higher paying remote role. $180k+ base would be great, but I also want there to be a focus on personal growth opportunities, a focus on learning new skills or stipend to support this are a bonus but not required. Title wise I don't care but would prefer to stay in SW Engineering. I'm more focused on backend but front end coding is great as long as I'm not designing the entire site's design from scratch.
I've had some interviews and several immediate denials. Are there items I should remove or change in my resume to have a better chance? I have a feeling that listing my old LLC is acting as a pitfall. I have another job with Suddenlink Media that falls before this that I could add on as a replacement but the focus there was on networking and IT with some programming in a MS Stack so not sure if it fits.
Any help would be great.

In my experience, they will assume you are seeking contract work or they might not view it as individual contributor/engineering experience.
When I list my LLC below my full-time positions, I just write "software engineer" rather than "founder", "owner", "CEO", etc.
I will say that every application I've filled out has asked form mon/year so that version is probably better.
