I have an opportunity to interview with Google for a TPM position. I have 15+ yr in various Engineering roles in MS and I have been in Program management for the past 4 yrs. Any tips on what to study/focus on in the next 10 days. I'll do a full system design refresher but I am concerned about the coding part as I haven't really been coding daily for a while now.. I need to come up to speed rapidly and any tips on the types of questions to prepare for would be appreciated. Any other general interview prep suggestions would also be great..thanks
Why would they ask you coding questions with your background and experience. Do they really do that?
I am not sure but obviously I need to prepare for any eventuality. The interviewer did say that they ask technical coding questions.
if it is with Google Cloud, ask for just design interview
Normally for L6 or above interviews are mostly domain specific. There are no coding questions for TPMs in GC...
“Grokking the system design interview” is the best prep. It’s extremely comprehensive and covers all relevant systems. Well worth the 💵

Cracking The Code is a good book which should help you refresh your coding knowledge. Also, I believe Google offers some sort of coaching sessions which I hear is beneficial.
Thanks. The recruiter did not mention this. I'll check with them..
