Many "experts" have become bullish over the last few weeks based on their Shanghai plant developments. Probably too hot to buy now.

Not for me

I'd sell now. Even a mediocre result in the next quarter should cause the stock prices to drop due to how insanely high the expectations are right now.

What is the expectation?

But they are delivering, fundamentals are right , there is demand

I think people (more than just TSLA first adopters and electric car enthusiasts) are starting to realize just how far ahead Tesla is in the realm of electric cars. China's massive population (with enough income) has huge demand for electric cars and Tesla has built and already has output from their Shanghai factory in less than 1 year. All of the competitors, even the Chinese homebrew ones are so far behind Tesla. I think Tesla's Model Y is going to push them into the green big time. The Model Y will be built in China, shares developement costs with the Model 3, and is a crossover. I personally would be resistant to buy right now, but I am also not sure where the next dip would be for a buying opportunity.

I have been waiting for a dip since it was 370. I wish it dips after quarterly results so that I can buy more.

Actually, China's electric cars aren't behind in the actual hardware performance aspect. Tesla's unique in their software, which is ahead, but they don't allow autopilot in China to be used because it isn't calibrated for Chinese roads, signs, and driving norms. Tesla has output from their factory after 1 year because China's construction companies are among the fastest in the world. They are used to insane timelines and have access to huge amounts of manpower and heavy machinery. Also the government subsidized the gigafactory project, so this speed doesn't speak on Tesla's efficiency and skill, more to China's construction industry and government support for green technologies.

Tesla ..the stock did nothing for 6 years and now has doubled in 2months. The current advantage for Tesla is it's backward integration via chips and batteries. But the real opportunity is in how it links it's revenue to usage of a car as opposed to just purchasing one

Buy the rumor sell the news! Also, trend is your friend. For a quick buck, sure buy it. Long term, I wouldnโ€™t bet on it. Pull back can happen sooner than you think.

I don't understand people who think Tesla is an automaker. They make whatever product fits the narrative of advancing the world to a sustainable energy future. The big difference between them and any of their competitors is that they actually create compelling products that people love while pushing the boundaries of innovation at breakneck speed. In short trade them on the fundamentals. If 80% of the world's transportation and energy needs is going to be fed via sustainable sources by 2030, they're going to have a play!
