How to boost confidence for job change

I want to switch companies but I am scared as shit about interviews. How can I boost confidence about interviews? Anything that you would recommend?

    Step 1: get an interview for a job you're okay not getting
    Step 2: go in with the intention of failing the interview
    Step 3: do the best you can in the interview
    Step 4: either get an offer (yay) or don't (no big deal, you were expecting to bomb).

    My New Year's resolution this year is literally to fall an interview. I always over prepare and even the ones I feel like I bombed on usually come back with offers.

    Fail an interview. If you aren't failing interviews, you aren't swinging far enough and you could be missing out on opportunities for advancement because you're playing it safe.

    • I was super scared too. But I didn’t have a choice when I got laid off. I remember getting rejected after the first phone screens from large and small companies and it was so discouraging. Sometimes it is also just luck. I finally passed a phone screen for a larger company and just the prep questions for the interview with the HM made me not want to do it. But the fear of not having a job made me keep going. Good luck - you will do fine.

      I would not say that is the norm. Don't worry about that level of speed, but you should be able to solve mediums with reasonable solution in say 30 minutes. FB as an example will often ask 2 mediums (common lc med) in 1 interview. Some other companies may ask 1 med or hard per interview.

      Also 500 is a ton. It's different for every person, but for last time I job searched, less than 100med was fine for me. More about understanding all common kinds of questions and patterns instead of pure quantity.
