Why Gmail spam filtering so shitty?

Lately I have noticed more and more legitimate emailes flaged and moved to spam from Google's spam filtering system in Gmail.

So much so that I have started checking spam folder like another inbox. This is another one of those example of how dumb our AI models really are when looking at never seen example which can occur any time in real life. I don't know what would happen when people start relying more and more on AI and ML for critical things in life. (I'm looking at you waymo)

Below is the recent example that made me write this post so that someone responsible for this can fix at least Gmail. This is an automated email coming from Google's own domain where one of my friend is requesting access to one of my Google drive folder. Just read the message to see the irony. If you think this is a fake, I encourage you to check your spam folders to find similar gems.
