How is the Tableau offers post merger? I've heard RSUs were cut considerably... Also...If I'm looking at leadership roles (manager, sr manager) Is there a better department to lean towards? I've heard short of engineering or software dev that oay is subpar? Any validity to that? TC: 100k
It's all speculation right now. We don't yet know the impact on RSUs, base pay, or total comp. We should know more in a few months.
Thanks for at least the headsup. I had heard on a few posts that RSU for newhires was down from 5000k shares to like half that. But unsure if that was role dependent. I'm applying there with a referral shortly but most of the postings In looking at are 30+ days.
The initial RSU grants are down from their peak but that preceded, and is independent of, the Salesforce acquisition. They're also a little more role and level dependent today than they were a few years ago.

Also interested, salesforce does NOT have annual rsu refresher unless you are top performer. Will tableau do the same post merger?
