Let this post act as a thread for us to discuss the mandate at the company, whether it applies to WFH/office, and any other details.

When you post, please include the following details -

1. Does company have a mandate?
2. Is it required for WFH?
3. Is it required for in-office?

Current TC is not important. But if you want to include it it's up to you.

I'll start first -
Cisco just discussed vaccine mandate today at company check in, and it seems they are still in limbo, and are pending confirmations with OSHA/govt. However, they are requesting employees to fill out their vaccination status.

I respect those who vaccinated and those who don’t. Just want to shine a light on all company requirements.

      Many Christians churches are, and people could apply through those. Since protestant churches have many of their own doctrines they take up. Seems to be the only religious group that is doing exemptions. Atleast in America.

    It's time for the few or the many of us that want to own their medical decisions(non vaxxed, coerced vaxxed, vaxxed with side effects, or vaxxed that don't want to do it every 6 months) to tell the software industry to go fuck themselves! We went through politics, lowball offers, downlevel, stack rank, forced attrition or who knows what other shit and we pushed on. This is the straw that breaks the camel's back. I'm calling BS on this whole shit and I will NOT take it!!!

  • I’ll be very upfront and say I’m not vaxxed as I already had Covid early this year and recovered... and as of last week still tested positive for antibodies. That being said. Amex has mandated that as of 10/18 Everyone be vaccinated before entering the building. They aren’t even giving an option for testing. I submitted my request to work from home permanently but haven’t got a response yet. And I don’t want to hear Any BS about “just get the vaxx”. I have my reasons as to why I don’t want to get it as well as knowing many people who have gotten adverse side effects from it including my own primary care physician ... so save the speech for someone else. I cannot get behind this mandate
