Talk to Credit Karma Recruiter about the offer again?

A month back my offer got rescinded, and the recruiter told me it was due to team cancelling the search. After today's acquisition it makes sense. I am expecting an offer from Visa soon, but I am more interested in joining a startup like company where I can learn and grow more. Should I ask the recruiter, if the position is going to open again? Thanks CTC 125k

Don’t join now! They will have lay offs soon

if you want to join a startup like company wtf are you looking at Intuit for?

If they keep operating separately just like Cisco and meraki or other companies , it would be a start up culture even after the acquisition

I think that’s a naive and far fetched bet to make

If you’re looking for a startup so you can learn for then you really need to look for a startup. Credit Karma has been around and has grown a lot, in terms of people and process. It’s not a startup anymore.

Ok.. should I talk to the recruiter?

I can’t say because I’m not sure what you’re looking for or what level you’re being evaluated at. My observation is that the lower to mid range engineers learn more but the higher you go the more the process slows you down. You would probably learn more at a traditional startup.

Lol startup, we're just as slow as the big companies

You are reading into things. Credit Karma hasn’t confirmed anything and head counts change at the beginning of the year. The recruiter won’t know if the position is going to open again.
