#tech #uber #projectmanager #tc Going to start the interview process for Project Manager, Eats Customer Experience next week. I notice most recruiters like to bring up comp right in the first call. I want to be prepared so I don't lowball myself. Per the job posting, "For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $86,500 per year - $96,000 per year." But since I'm in CA/the Bay Area, I would think the TC would be higher? I don't know how Uber factors in locale. Would I be way off in asking for $135k base (number I targeted for a PJM role at FB and the recruiter was cool with it)? What should I be aiming for here in base/stock/bonus? TC: $77,250 YOE - 4
Yeah that number sounds reasonable. The Colorado estimate will help you get a ballpark, which you can adjust up for T1 locs like SF
Mind if I DM about a referral?
How’d it go? I am interviewing for a similar role at DoorDash but cannot find any good prep material. What kind of questions were you asked?
Any update?
It’ll all depend on the leveling. Regardless, that number won’t offend anyone, so give it a shot.
Thanks!
