Team or role change in Microsoft Consulting
I am a new grad, who is joining Microsoft as an Associate Consultant. I have been allotted a team which doesn't match my interest and skill set. My manager is most likely a female. Also, I think there is a 1 month training schedule after joining Microsoft. I have no other job offer. TC: đ YOE: 0
Why does your managerâs gender matter?
I never said it matters, maybe it does. Maybe it doesn't. I have just less experience with females. Also, there was this other Amazon guy on other post about interns, he made it clear that gender matters. So I was "being inclusive" of all opinions. Can you help me with my question? I am stuck lol.
I donât know anything about associate consultants so canât help you there. I would not inform the manager until you have the team switch confirmed
What skill set? You just graduated
2 internships, a small side tech venture with friends, open source contributions for Mozilla...all this helped me with Java, JavaScript, PHP, NodeJS, Angular, React. I have a pretty good software engineering profile, but sucked at Leetcode. I was rejected in all interviews except this.
Sounds like you're a bad engineer and decent bullshitter. this job is perfect for you. (And I mean no offense since I'm a PM for a similar reason)

How much is the hourly pay? Which consulting company are you through?
