Every tech company and their momma is on a diversity hiring spree, claiming it is good for business (with zero proof whatsoever). However what about TikTok (ByteDance)? TikTok is made by 90%+ Chinese* and they are owning the international market. *A random stat pulled from my ass. But most likely true.
Unpopular opinion: Homogeneous groups are more productive and can innovate more quickly. They don't argue as much over the right thing to do and can effectively move forward with a singular vision. At the same time they have a higher risk of developing something with a major blind spot, but every disruptive change comes with blind spots out of the gate. They get addressed in V2 and V3.
I think diversity of thought is beneficial, definitely not diversity because you check off a different box on a demographic
I think a background in income diversity from growing up closes the gap better than anything.
If you did a 5 second Google search, you would have seen that it is not "with zero proof whatsoever". Either you're too technologically illiterate to do this search or you're not arguing in good faith here ๐ For example, here's a Harvard Business Review study: https://hbr.org/2018/07/the-other-diversity-dividend
Wrong. They mixed up correlation with causation. Success affords businesses to engage in charitable acts of affirmative action and leftist culture and diversity campaigns, not vice versa.
Clearly you didn't read the article @google ๐ They study startups and find correlations between co-founder similarity and startup success.
Tech company execs talk about diversity is totally fake. Anyone bringing that up is a moronic bastard who is trying to repeat the narrative for promotions and for virtue signaling. Itโs really disgusting
You don't want to work for Chinese co. They all do '996'
Diversity is overplayed, if thatโs your company initiative things must be slow
Yeah, condom companies need employee diversity instead of market research.
