Currently an AE at Oracle selling Cloud in the SMB space but am considering making the move to an established yet growing aws premier partner. Will moving out of true tech sales and selling services for a partner limit my career? Also, any input or insight into partner sales would be appreciated!
I don’t know if it would be more limiting. However, I have seen high turn over in partner sales. They typically are much heaving on commission with the feast or famine mentality. So, if you’re interviewing I would make sure to understand their commission structure really well.
