I have got a business case ready to share with a potential cofounder for an idea. People in my network and a successful founder I met on LinkedIn approved of idea. I am looking for someone who can take lead on developing the tool. I am a Sr PM with tech background, I will do tech work too but I need guidance as itβs been long time since I was a developer. It will be a web and mobile app with analytics/AI and VR fueling key features. I am in LA Area and cofounder can be anywhere.

Start building now! If you want a great cofounder, they're far more likely to join a project that you're already building
Building wireframes, conducting user interviews with real potential users. I lost touch of building on my own in past few years, thanks to PMing at Disney π
So you're doing the wireframes and testing the market. That's great! That kind of drive will attract a much better cofounder.
What tech skills are you looking for? Web dev? ML? AR/VR? Other?
Good point. Let me edit the OP. Basically open for suggestions. Like any self funded effort whatever gets it in prod with a plan to transform as we get traction.
DM me, Iβd be interested to hear about the product
PM me deets
I have been building something on my own past 2 years and now winding it down. Lost interest as well found it too hard to scale. Though not much interested to be your tech guy, but open for conversations.
Work and live in Hollywood/LA. Already co founded a tech startup in Culver City with two other non tech co founders. I can put you in touch with other potential folks. Feel free to DM me.

No one in your network want to work with you?
What a low life! Not everyone is in same state of life. My network is of people in state of young family, so not at a point to partner on startup. Plus not many in my network are full stack developers with current hands on. And Disney folks settle here for life, I am odd one here π€¦ββοΈ
Itβs a valid question. As soon as you go outside of your network your chances or finding the right cofounder lower dramatically. Research startup failure reasons. Apart from lack of funds, cofounder conflict is the most common reason for failure. Someone in your network must know someone in a stage of life where starting a company makes sense. You will be way more successful that way than trying your luck in an anonymous forum... good luck!
