I’m interested in starting a YouTube channel and I’m torn on what to do in terms of content. What I’m think is either:
1. Tech and Software Engineering channel: covering tech news, tech industry in general, careers, small amount of lifestyle stuff (“… as a SWE”), etc. No coding tutorials or anything like that, not planning on selling courses too
2. Lifestyle/Exploration channel: I live in NYC and I like to explore and try new things. The channel would be about “life in the city” and also tips and advice for living/visiting New York, things to check out, etc
Which seems like it would be better in terms of growth, monetizing, interactions with work (don’t want to get fired over a YT channel or have it make it hard to get hired)?

Lifestyle: All ages, all groups
Tech: Majorly males(maybe 5-20% females), age group around 20-30(15-35 if optimistic), only engineers. No, scratch that. Only CS engineers.
Clear difference
