In your finance job, what pieces of technology (hardware or software) do you find most useful on a daily basis? Are you all about the Apple watch, or sing the praises of a mechanical keyboard? What programs enhance your productivity?
My laptop
Windows 10 "My Phone" feature lol
What is this feature?
Not sure if you'd consider a dual monitor setup to be tech (I suppose it is right?), but yea I've always had dual monitors and they're crucial for my productivity.
This!!!
Public Cloud (we use Azure), vs code, Skype on Phone app...
Ergonomic mouse and keyboard. I was having wrist problems which went away after I started using the set. I also use OneNote a lot.
iPhone.
Wireless headphones are great for days of endless conference calls, long flights, or the hotel gym (when I get there . . . ). I really liked my Jabra Elite Sport, but something is up with their ability to charge these days. Kind of miss them. A Kindle is also great for flights and layovers when you need to take a break from working. Easy to pack, lightweight, holds a lot, etc.
Work in tech but obv in finance industry, and the apple watch has been something i always look at for certain metrics or times. Its nice to just talk to siri on your watch to add a reminder. However, i have to hands DOWN say that the ipad pro with pencil was the best investment i have ever made in my life for my career. Notes, organization, productivity etc
