Hi, I am getting an opportunity to work as TPM in Amazon. But I also heard that there is lot of office politics that comes with the role. is it true? I am in software development from last 10 years.
What were your interviews?
means?
Why switch from SDE to a freaking TPM? I would join as an SDE if I were you.. in general, TPM's are tagged as non tech who keep chasing people for dates and get absolutely zero respect from anyone
I am not sure what this role do. hence I a asking you all if it is a wise choice.
Did you get an offer already? Which team/org? At a high level TOM's drive design discussions and manage cross team collaboration and send reports and escalate as required
Ok so you are calling it a quits?
