I have been working as Technical Lead for the past 5 years with heavy focus on management. I have 10-15 years of experience between working as Engineer and Manager with majority of my history working in Europe. I have very good contacts at Google and am thinking of applying, but I also have some strings in San Francisco Bay Area. I would consider myself a high tier candidate and would be confident to get the job if I applied. What is an average salary for me at Google in New York?

Oh boy, I've seen so many "high tier and confident" candidates that can't pass through interviews... Partliarly, because they are too confident. Good luck. You are looking at North $350K for T5 TPM
Totally understand! Thanks for the numbers, the interviews could get hard for sure! Just mentioned high tier because I generally get invited to the Google office quite often to share my views in certain fields as I have a lot of experience in them. I feel like they have been flirting quite a bit and now I'm getting ready to take the step!
In reality, only what hiring committee is saying matters... And in some cases - the hiring office VP. All prelude and flirting is out of the equation.
