I am interested in knowing what technology-stack to create that provides cyber security by leveraging 3rd party security platforms like #zscaler #netskope #crowdstrike #sysdig #sentinelone #paloaltonetworks Are there any tutorials/ usage-papers by the security platform providers? What are the integration point with these platforms?
I used to work on a security product and our tech stack was Java
Were you leveraging any 3rd party platforms?
We built in house platforms but we used 3rd some third parties like virus total
It starts with organization’s info sec plan. The vendors you mentioned are just tools to execute the plan. The short answer to your question is - Most of the enterprise security products provide third party integrations. Eg Zscalar CASB provides integration with another vendor proofpoint for discovery of cloud applications from traffic. Symantec CASB provides integration with its own DLP solution to scan data at rest and data in motion. Reality is security admins face huge issues if they select different vendors as they have to refer to consoles/APIs of those products to extract data and make sense out of it. It’s better to go with integrated solutions of same vendor. But it always happens that a particular vendor has a strong product line in particular area of security but mediocre in another area. Eg Qualys has very strong vulnerability manager but poor compliance manager product line.

Front-end: Ember.js Back-end: Go I’m assuming because that’s what’s used at competing security companies
Please elaborate exactly what you are looking for..also TC/YOE or
I am eager to learn- so you won’t go off road in sharing your insights about the topic. You can approach this as a broad interview design question: ‘How to enhance the tech stack to provide cyber security. What all can you add to your existing design (what you have designed so far) to improve security’ Things- I could think of: Are there any tutorials/ usage-papers by the security platform providers? What are the integration point with these platforms?
