is it typical to be reached out by a recruiter and then not hear back from them after a long while? got reached out for an engineering position and emailed promptly and havent heard back in a month. guess ill give up now๐
Try to send a follow up, I was going back and forth with my Tesla recruiter since November. Sheโs great tho, probably the best recruiter Iโve dealt with, and I got an offer :)
Trust me, I have. Iโve sent 2 already. Very light worded email just to show interest but they havenโt responded
Do you have a direct phone number? I would call them if it is to leave a voicemail. If you donโt hear back after that, then move on.
I feel like if I call Iโll be pushing my luck

Tesla ghosted me after my onsite. 2 weeks now. I went through 9 rounds, 1+ month of interviewing. No calls, no emails, no follow-up
I heard Tesla does that as they interview multiple candidates simultaneously. Did you receive any update from them later on?
Recruiter at Tesla contacted my friend last week with some basic interest and work authorization related questions. He replied promptly. And itโs been a week and the recruiter didnโt reply yet.
Yep. Lots of sub par recruiters, especially at the earlier stages.
