Tesla leasing for the Model 3 does not have a buyout clause though. Would you lease if you couldn’t purchase?

Yeah I’m looking at leasing either a LR AWD for $650 (15k miles, 2500 down) or performance $750 (15k miles, 2500 down)
You could buy a model 3 standard for that price.
But I don’t want the standard?? And buying these models would put me $200 over the above prices.
I leased a Model 3 Performance - (performance minus upgraded brakes, 20 inch wheels, performance pedals and spoiler) purchase price was around $51k. I put $2500 down and lease payment is around $770 a month for 24 months and 10k miles a year. The car is fucking amazing and worth every penny.
Why did you lease vs buy?
That monthly payment seems a bit high - what were the residual and mf?
Buy. Tesla’s lease is expensive. Monthly loan payment is lower than the lease payment.
