Which option makes most sense? i dont wanna get a brand new model S. thats just spending too much on a car. i am leaning towards a model3. but apprehensive about what ill be missing out on. also is it better financially to lease a model 3 vs buy one and sell it in 5-6 years? also if i were to get a used mode S vs a new model 3. which is a better option?#tesla
New Model 3 is 50k+ 2017 Used Model S will AutoPilot is similar $$ I was in the same dilemma, got the Model S, Love it
I have driven a Tesla Model 3 and S and finally decided to go with Model 3. It has newer hardware, lighter, efficient and more fun to ride. If you need more space, go with Model S.
I absolutely don't need more space. Infact I wished the new roadster was out by now.
Then get the performance Model 3
Mustang 🐎
Model 3
Your TC would help in making a suggestion. I would totally get the long range model S. Long range + unlimited super charging.
Tesla
What is your TC at Roku?
Asking the real questions.
Model 3 unless you want the latest 100D model S for 370 mile range..
I'm in the midst of making the same decision. Let me know what you end up going with. I also am not sure of the economics. Things to keep in mind that aren't already mentioned in the comments: 1. Model S and model 3 fall under different classifications of luxury vehicles for Uber, but I think the same for Lyft. If you are planning on making some money back by ride-sharing, this is relevant as both will net more per hour than a standard vehicle, due to them being able to drive luxury/comfort rides, but not the same as each other when driving for Uber. 2. Which one holds its value better? I think model 3 doesn't seem to depreciate as much, and even if they depreciated the same amount in %, that would suggest model 3 holds $ value better. 3. Some Model Ss come with free lifetime supercharging. Has anyone done the calculations for say, 10 year ownership, if the extra money is worth it?
I am definitely not gonna be driving for Uber or Lyft. Is it worth your time, really??? I am quite interested in economics and convenience of free charging though.
Yeah, I think so, if you only drive luxury / comfort rides, not standard, it's like $75-$100/h

Get a civic. Don’t buy pricey shit for peer pressure
Civic doesn't come in electric. Which civic would u recommend. If I am not buying tesla, I'd want to lease something v v cheap. I looked at Hyundai ioniq electric. But it's sold out. It was available for $109 monthly lease :(
Does it have to be electric?
