How is it working for Tesla? Is it different in comparison to companies such as Google, Apple, Juniper etc
Anyone knows how is it working at the Fremont site? As higher level Engineer or mid- Mgr?

Hahaha
I have three friends who work for Tesla in Bay Area. Two said they doubled their compensation after moving from Seattle and one who is a Bay Area native said they don't pay as high as other companies. All three said the company is highly innovative which makes work exciting; however burn out rate is high.
Pay and work culture is a joke there.
I'm reading the Musk biography right now. Very enlightening, and I highly recommend it if you think you want to work for him. Because you will be working for him. Not directly, but you will likely be giving him sit reps spontaneously and in person.
I have heard consistently their is no work life balance.

I heard burn out stories. Essentially big mission but little pay. Seattle area. A neighbor works there.
