How valuable do you think thank you emails are after an on-site? Also is sending it a day later the onsite too late?
Not very, but can’t hurt. No, not too late.
Very valuable, will help you be memorable. A day later is fine.
It’s a polite thing to do, in my humble opinion. And sending it a day later seems fine as both parties will have had a chance to reflect on the interview from the day before. It’s never harmed my chances when I’ve sent thank you emails in the past.
I think thank you letters and cover letters as a formality should be eliminated. If you genuinely wanna thank someone go ahead and do it.
One time I sent one and the company replied they don’t hire try hards :(
Right thing to do is the right thing to do no matter how valuable it ends up being
It’s seen as desperate. You gave your time too, they should be thanking you.
Nobody cares about your thank you. Done is done. Your thank you won’t change decision of bunch of people.
No value at all
