Thinking about buying Tesla but can't decide whether model 3 performance or model S?

Dont care for model X hence that's out. Colleagues are telling me model 3 has new SW so I should roll with model 3 Is this true? I like how model S would look in matte black but model 3 doesn't look that bad either. Don't want to spend 100k on it hence model S will not be performance however model 3 will be performance with 0-60 in 3.2 secs Any recommendations or sales pitch?

Those Fiat 500es were sometimes like 8k new a few years ago. That was awesome. I wish I had gotten one. Go for that of it happens again!

The turbo right? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Tesla eats the taycan (even the turbo🤣🤣) for breakfast.

I'd vote Model 3 Performance. Still a fast car, but a bit smaller and lighter too. I've heard good things about how it feels to drive. And you save money.

Thanks! From this poll I might not even get a car and just ride gbus

Model S is a bigger and classier car. Right now Model 3 has better battery technology and faster charging. If you can wait for 1 year when “plaid” version is out then Model S will be a no brainer (but still more expensive)

Samsung dbo OP Sep 27, 2019

So wait a year and buy model s? I can do that

Splunk it’snotme Sep 27, 2019

They have tested a beta version of Plaid at the Nurburgring with the unofficial time of ~7:20, which beats Taycan’s 7:42 by a big margin. Model 3 performance is available right now. Plaid update will be awesome but will only be available in about a year. Also it will probably cost twice as much as Model 3. But Model S is a different class. If you can wait and can afford it - go for the Model S in a year time.

Did you test drive both? If not may be that is what you need to do and find out what is it that you want!

Samsung dbo OP Sep 27, 2019

I have both but can't decide bc they both are stupendous

If you question it, you're poor. So go with the model 3

Samsung dbo OP Sep 27, 2019

Look at where I used to work, yes I'm poor. Appreciate your input!

Get a car that runs on electricity that has a computer instead of a portable computer that happens to control a car.

Model 3 is cheap. Get a real car
