Moved from San Francisco Bay Area and can not wait to leave. Who can tolerate such terrible weather YEAR ROUND?? There’s literally 3 months of sun and 9 months of gray/rainy/freezing weather. I don’t care what the CoL is in Seattle vs Cali, there’s a reason it’s more expensive; you get what you pay for.
Each experience is pretty unique. I’ve made a move as well and cannot be happier.
Can confirm. Moved from Bay area to Seattle, back to Bay area. Seattle weather can be mind numbing.
Bay area people can be mind numbing.
You can avoid the mind numbing people, but you can't move the cloud over your head, can you?
I’ll say Bay Area might be for a lot people, but Seattle for a few...
SF weather is still WAY better than Seattle. That being said, every other city outside of SF in the Bay is unreal. South Bay, East Bay, etc.
Don’t let the door hit you on your way out!
are you serious? CA weather sucks. Its too hot. Its a furnace. Seattle is perfect. I love the smell of the rain.
you probably visited CA for July 4 weekend and made up your mind CA climate is furnace.
Inland Southern California is a furnace. It is frequently 100 degrees as late in the year as November. It’s definitely much cooler near the coast and further north though.
I remember walking down market street around 1988 at 1am and I saw the cops talking to an elderly Japanese transvestite who seemed to be off his medication. They wanted to take him to the psych ward but he shit his panties and he was a mess. So they called a fire truck which came down and they hosed the dude off with a firehose before putting him the squad car.
Can’t tell which side this is arguing for...
WTF
I did the same move and can’t wait to leave and enjoy the sun.
SF has terrible weather. Your post might have more value if comparing LA to Seattle.
LA > SF > 10 other cities > Seattle (village)
Agree. SF is not great, Bay area is good
