Thomson Reuters Toronto compensation for SWE with 4 YOE
Toronto TR What is the base salary for a developer with 4 YOE? Also, do they offer joining bonus, relocation or RSUs?
As a new grad joined as associated software enginner, u get 80k base with 10k sign-on, regular 10% annual bonus. No relocation no RSU. 3 week vacation allocated on start A year later, u will get promoted to software engineer with base as 88k. With 4 YOE, u will most likely join as SDE II, probably 100k base with 10-20 k sign on, not entirely sure about sign-on.
120k TC for 4 yoe-not great in Toronto
I agree is not alot, but it is not US. Compare with Amazon Toronto, 120k is low too, but not that many company pay more than Amazon in Toronto, probably just Wish.

120k base is the top of sr software developer band.
They don't give RSU but you can buy discounted stock at a percentage of your salary. Something like 10% off. HR will let you know.
