Seems like the office is above a restaurant... Looks very sketchy... But it's Nvidia. Thoughts? Do they pay more than other Canadian companies?

Or just stick to AMD here?

Within NVIDIA the Toronto office is one of the most desired offices to go to. I don’t know why, but even Jensen had to call out the sentiment in a quarterly meeting and clarify that we cannot just send everybody to Toronto who applies for it.

From listings, it looks like they’ve been consistently hiring for two separate teams as far back as last summer. I wonder if they weren’t able to fill positions or if they really need people.

Does anyone actually know someone who works in the Toronto office? Is there actually a team here or are they just filling positions that are WFH and remote to the location of the actual team?

pretty much a purely remote position i guess? with the listings having been up for so long i wonder if they’ve actually grown by a fair number of hires or if they just can’t find the right candidates

Mostly remote - true. Heard they have around 10 people on the ASIC side in this office. There are other 160-170 software people

That’s what people like about it. It’s in an area with things to do after work! Of course it’s not the size of AMD there, that was ATIs headquarters… where as for NVIDIA this was all just organic growth over the last few years

Do you know how large it is (# employees)? Additionally, what would growth opportunities be like, since it seems very limited in the sense that there are barely any jobs to transfer into should you choose to do something nee?
