It’s a great company with really decent people.
No, title doesn’t say it all. Are you asking about the stock or the company for the work culture? There could be many other interpretations.
Thanks. Their stock. At $116 it looks like a good entry point.
How's the Identity and Access group? 😁
Not good. Too much churn in the last 3 years due to strategy changes. VP is egoistic and the Director of Product Management is arrogant. The product is used only internally so no revenue tied to it which is a curse when company wants to reduce headcount.
Isn't VMware going to monetize it soon? Treat it as competitors of Okta, Onelogin, Ping, etc
The CEO sounds like a great person: Pat Gelsinger is much more than a mere philanthropist. He and his wife are among the most generous billionaires in the world. The couple started out giving generously, but they agreed to increase the amount of their giving each year. They are now at almost fifty percent of their gross income, given out in donations to help those who are less fortunate than they. The Gelsingers have exceeded the tax limits on giving, but they continue their generosity in spite of the fact that not all giving allows for a tax break.
Wow. Didn’t know. Thanks
He's not a billionaire. The rest of that is accurate.
pretty good. depends on bu and team.
