Went through the interview cycle for TikTok. Was informed yesterday that they will be making an offer to me on a PM role. The overall responsibilities and scope of the position are pretty interesting. I’m concerned though over all the negative feedback as my experience didn’t seem that way. Toxic companies I’ve worked for in the past I usually pick up through the interviews, but this one I didn’t. My Hm seemed super chill, but knowledgeable on pushing things through with the right POCs.
I have another official offer but was informed they will out compete the other offer I have which is pretty good as well.
Is wlb/toxicity very team dependent or company wide?

I like the freedom and autonomy but that has more to do with my manager than the company itself. Doesn’t matter which company you work for it’s your direct manager that matters the most.
China treats US employees like shit, people are leaving this company like flies.
Read more about the culture on other platforms. I completed 1 year with difficulty and cannot wait to get out.
Don't be convinced otherwise.
