TPM University Grad role I'm in team matching phase for the last 1+ month. Cleared onsite with good reviews and pending HC review (happens after team matching in my case). I sent an email to my recruiter over the Christmas break saying I'm open to PM and PgM roles as well (as that'd increase chances of team matching and I'm genuinely interested in those roles as well). Haven't heard from my recruiter yet. Looking for ideas to nudge them again. Any suggested topics or contexts to get in touch? Looking to avoid the "Hey just bumping this email in case you missed it" route. Thanks! Blatant Pitching: If you're looking for a TPM, PgM or PM NCG for your teams/org, happy to strike a conversation! :D
Email them happy new year and say you updated your resume since you 2 last talked. Attach your resume.
Great idea, thank you! I'll do this :)
And I actually do have updated content so that might help :)
Honestly if they're not getting back to you it's because something is going on. Not necessarily a bad thing, but they rather not communicate unless they're certain of what's next. It can be something as banal as someone who is team matching you be on vacation, or they're taking forever to come up with an answer. It's normal. If you've reached out, trust me they received your email(s). Keep on "nudging" them is only going to irritate them and well that's not helping anyone is it. Hang tight, don't put all eggs in one basket, and good luck!!!!
Thanks for taking time to write this, I appreciate it! That's absolutely right. However I feel I can try once with a new resume which I anyway have some updates on and then I think I will have more answer based on their response (if at all)
You're in team matching phase, why do you think an updated resume is needed? They have already gathered all the information from you.
Can you get a competing offer to speed things up? For what it's worth, I see nothing wrong with being honest, and say you're bumping the email.
I'm doing my best to get another, haven't had much luck lately. Will keep hustling 💪😃 And yeah no problem in saying bumping at all, but thanks to fellow Blind members I recollect mentioning to them that I'll send an updated availability schedule once I'm back on campus, and that's what I'm going to do now!
Yea I have a G recruiter who seems totally uninterested. They are usually rah rah.
Well mine's not uninterested, they were friendly and (seemed) interested throughout. It's also possible a large number emails through the holiday season burried the email and they didn't get a chance to get back and/or read and missed replying to it.
Mine seems drugged
