I finally got access to the Robinhood crypto wallet transfers about a month ago and I want to stake my assets.

Where are you guys staking BTC and Eth (assuming Eth 2.0)?

Correction:
For BTC it is lending not staking

  • You can stake ETH on Coinbase but the APY has been dropping steadily. Went from 7% to 3.68%. You're basically locking your coins away until ETH 2.0 happens and there is no way to withdraw. Even the staking reward is locked. Think carefully if you're patient and risk tolerant enough to do this. In terms of lending BTC, I'd stay away from it as you expose yourself to considerable risk. No point in maximizing profits on an already volatile asset unless you're okay with losing 100% of it.

    • I'm staking only ETH that is profit, so it would suck to lose it but also wouldn't be the end of the world. I'm pretty sure Robinhood does not give you the option to transfer crypto, I'm not sure if that has changed in the past year.

Lido or buy rETH (Rocket Pool). If you have 16 ETH, you can run your own rocket pool mini pool.

    Otherwise, Coinbase/Kraken.

You can use https://www.rocketpooltool.com to calculate your potential earnings. I don’t run a mini pool but from my understanding, you have to have a staking setup whether it’s on a local machine or VPS, and connected to the internet. There’s some documentation with steps on running it, and they also just released a cli which supposedly simplifies the entire process? Might want to head to /r/ethstaker on Reddit
