Most of my team is in SF with some in Seattle (60/40). If SF I’d likely live in the marina area and if Seattle then the nice part of cap hill (by volunteer park).
I’m leaning towards Seattle as I’ve lived there before for some years and love the nature and tax savings but the weather and social/dating scene is pretty rough. People just aren’t as friendly as in SF 9 months out of the year due to the weather.
Anything I’m missing? Where would you live assuming you’re a single young adult?

The 'Seattle Freeze' doesn't really exist anymore. The Freeze used to be that youd meet someone at an event, seem like you really get along, and then theyd never return your texts and calls. People arent like that here anymore, they reffer to the Freeze as people just not talking to each other in public much...People used to talk to each other in public a lot though!
The culture has changed, in some ways for the worse but tbh imo mostly for the better, especailly for working professionals like yourself.
