How much total comp (base + RSUs) to expect at Adobe as a Sr. Software Engineer with 10 years of experience? Their stock has increased around 60% over the past year. Is there a requirement for min number of years of experience to get promoted to Principal? Current comp is 200k base in SF.
From what I heard, I think it’s 250k -350k TC. If I remember correctly, they have l4 and l5 both senior engineer as a title, that’s why the range is so big. Hopefully someone from adobe can clarify since my numbers are reading from past posts on Blind
Ummmm, not sure what org you are going to but I’m at 250k + 1200 RSU’s. Hope that helps. Remember the company is really several unique business units with totally separate goals/markets. At the rate the stock is going I’m optimistic I’ll be close to seven figures when it all vests. I will say this, be direct during your negotiations. Don’t forget to explain why you’re worth it (e.g patents etc.)
They give very little in terms of RSUs but offer ESPP. At 5 yoe (last year) I was offered 140k base + 55k RSUs. Even with waaaay higher competing offer from FB they didn't budge. My friend, who has been there for a few years and joined right out of college, has never been given any RSUs. Just puts aside a chunk of his paycheck for ESPP.
This was Seattle btw, not sure if that makes any difference
