#tech #JPMorgan #AI #ML I got an offer for Applied AI ML lead from JP Morgan. The recruiter told me that there's no concept of joining bonus/stocks in the company. Apart from that base plus performance bonus amounts to 240-250k. Location: NY Base: 200k Joining bonus: 0 Joining stocks: 0 Performance bonus: 40-50k Am I getting the most of it ? MS and 3+ yrs experience.
Location, title, yoe, base-bonus breakdown?
Is the bonus guaranteed? Look pretty decent for JPM.
Recruiter said she can agree for a target in the offer.
If you don’t have a competing offer, just grab it. The role seems interesting and you can jump a year later with the experience/title.
How does this compare to a Microsoft Atlanta offer with TC around 200k Base: 137k, joining bonus:25k (50k for 2yrs), stocks 32.5k (130k for 4 years)?
What is your background? Education? PhD? YOE?
It could go 300k
Can I message you ?
Base is good, push for higher IC
The recruiter told you a half truth. MDs get stock. But that’s rarified air that it might as well not even be a thing seeing as how 97% of people never make it that far
Do they give joining bonus and how does performance bonus work usually?
97% try 99.9998%
What would be some pros and cons of joining a tech company like MS and a finance company like JPMorgan ? Does it matter, should I be concerned only about the team and job description?
Only pro that I can think of in a bank is fancy title which can be flaunted in front of friends/relatives.
Lol 😂
What's your total experience?
They offered me 165 for VP of technology. Rather low.
Hi, did you join jpmc? I was confused between jpmc 168k base vs Microsoft . Have Microsoft pm 2 loop done. Any idea what's the best figure to ask against this offer? If you don't mind helping
That’s heinous. That’s mid-level recruiter pay at Twitter. JPMC has so many VPs though I guess… TC - 165
