Folks what do you think of hydrogen fueled Toyota Mirai ? Please share experience if you have any from car to fuel availability. I am planning to buy it as a commute car driving around 30 miles a day. I am based in southern Bay Area.
Definitely call your insurance to find out how much it will be. I have heard the insurance increases significantly.
get a used leaf. best money I've ever spent
How does the battery capacity depreciation work for a Leaf, especially a used one? That's the thing I'm afraid of
They don't degrade much and musk said what, a million miles on an ev battery?
Alright I will bite - why not a model 3? 🤡 Jokes aside, it only makes sense if you are very close to a nearby hydrogen refueling station.
For leaf, what options I would have if I don’t have charger point at my home or office?
Then I don’t think you’re a good candidate for an EV. Maybe look at a plug in hybrid? The Honda clarity is pretty cool.
that's tricky. try installing chargepoint/evgo and look for any public stations near your home or office. Some are a rip-off, some are pretty cheap.
I don’t have one but looked into it last time. The Mirai seemed a lot more expensive than a Leaf with no obvious advantages.
