I’m going to apply to Hack Reactor as I’m switching from finance to Tech. Anyone have any experience with them (ideally either in NYC or their part time remote)?
Just a little background if you care. I’ve been the head of Investment research at a wealth management firm for 9 years now. One of the first hires. TC only $115 which is a big reason I want to switch into tech. I also like the challenge and the work itself in SWE opens up more doors down the road and it seems like a more exciting career. Finally, nobody on Wall St will say it, but what we do is essentially gambling so I figure it’s time to get a real job.
