Just got an offer with fb for tpm ( tech program manager) role. 240k base, 70k signon, 450k rsu. Currently in apple IC5 getting 150k refresh, 12-15 bonus, 190 base. Having around 320 k unvested rsu. 15 YOE ( tech and TPM) Is this worth the jump? Can we get more signon for unvested rsu?
Technical Product Manager or Technical Program Manager ? And how many years of experience do you have ?
Facebook has either TPM (Technical Program Manager) or PM (Product Manager)
I'm not too familiar with the TPM position - what are differences in terms of role and requirements?
Not with such a low equity
I came from FB as a TPM. I'd consider the team you are joining as well. This seems like a solid offer, but the team could make or break your experience. The team I came from was poisonous and full of politics that made it a miserable experience. Unless you were best friends with the leadership, it was miserable. Of course YMMV depending on the org/team.
What is TPM roles consist of ?
BSing other TPMs and reshuffling stories
What level are they offering? Used to hire for this team at FB. Definitely get more on the sign on, they'll go up to 100k
What level as TPM? What's the yearly bonus and any refreshers?
Op. What level were you offered?
Op are you IC5 TPM at Apple ?
What level? PM me if you like. I'm currently a TPM and happy to answer questions π
What level were you offered?
