I had a question for people living in and around Redmond area in washington. I would be joining Microsoft in about couple of months and I currently looking into apartments. I am looking at apartments which are about 8-10 miles from Microsoft and google tells me that it would take about 30-40 mins travel time at peak hous. Does it really take that long for 8-10 miles out there ? I am not from Washington, would teally appreciate some insights.
Really depends on the route, but totally yes. Renton is one of the hardest nearby places to commute from imho.
I am more curious about evening times say around 5 when everyone leave work. Is it true that I-405 is really bad compared to others at the same time
Thanks for all the info. Apart from Redmond itself, which neighboring areas are better for commute to and from Redmond. Bellevue Kirkland Bothell Sammamish Or any other
Where can I get all the info about connector stops/map. Any idea

I live near Bothell and it’s 20 mins no traffic, 30/40 in rush hour sometimes even 40/50 a few times a year. 8-10 miles out
Do you know how's the travel from Bothell to downtown Seattle?
