Is it considered as a gift, and eventually need to pay gift tax if I receive money from my spouse towards the down payment I'm planning to make on a house?
Loan is going to be on my name but both of us are planning to be on the Title of the house.
I obviously googled my question and the results were not very clear as they revolve around 'US Citizens'. We both are not US citizens but resident aliens for tax purposes.
Thanks!!

But that would apply to family or strangers. If she's your wife it should already be considered part of your assets.
