Transition from QA to Full stack developer

I got offer from Optum- subsidiary of United health group companies.
I've 5 years experience as QA more into manual testing and 2 years of automation testing. In the managerial round I was told they would give 18 weeks training on fukl stack development and Qa is also expected to do development.
I wanted to know about this 18 weeks training period and what happens post that?
Also how's work life balance there?
