Hi! My background is in website content management/strategy and now internal communications. I have experience with site analytics, as well as graphic design and design thinking implementation. I've worked closely with our product management team and am interested in a PM or UX/UI manager type role. LinkedIn has a "pathway" for becoming a UX design manager in its learning section, which I've started taking to get a better understanding of the role and find that my experience between CM/Comm developed a lot of the skillsets used in UX/UI. Any advice for how to transition/apply for this type of role if I dont have any true experience?
Talk to a lot of people who already have the role that you want and ask them about it. Ask them about the negatives and positives.
