Passed the initial quiz which I think was pretty easy. Anyone here got a job via Triplebyte
I got 1 offer, didn’t go. Companies don’t bother with responding, so don’t recommend. Waste of time.
You get to go straight to onsite. You learn about companies you otherwise might overlook. It's free. What's not to like?
The company needs to respond to your ping after you pass the screening and enable your profile. They usually don’t. That’s it. No responses. No onsites.
They did in my case. Sorry it didn't work out for you. Did you follow all their suggestions like sending notes to the companies you favorited?
Not working at all
Here is my feedback from the interview: lack of some basic cs concepts. Not comfortable with Java. Not comfortable with IDE. Coding need improvement. Sounds like I am dead as a developer. Just received two offers from FGA.
I had similar feedback, but got on-sites at Google, apple msft and Autodesk like 2 weeks after not passing lmao
Honestly, I went through the process because of the f*cking ads everywhere. So they kind of work. In my case the screening was actually fun, 2 hours: coding something incrementally, many random CS questions, systems design, and debugging a toxic codebase full of issues (making some unit tests pass) — no leetcoding stuff. Interviewer was the nicest guy ever. Maybe will get contacted by someone and go through an onsite, maybe not, but so far it’s been cool and everyone has been nice 👍 . I even got a welcome package to triplebyte with some goodies which I’ll definitely use. And yes, I’m not triplebyte mike! TC: 120k +1% @ small startup
I got a job at twitch, it helped me get out of Florida and out to the West coast. This was early days when the process was different I think. I got an interview with a weird ar startup, flex port, and a startup harj taggar had backed. Was only interested in the ar guys and twitch, got offers from both.
I think getting good feedback is probably the best way to get an on-site at a West coast company of you're looking to relocate but people aren't taking your resume seriously
If I see one more fucking Triplebyte ad I’m going to delete the internet.
